We have worked with Susan for the past four years. During this time, she has represented us as buyers and as sellers in four different completed transactions in Blackhawk. Each time, her professionalism, negotiation skills, comprehensive attention to detail and knowledge of the ever-changing conditions of the real estate market have been valuable and reassuring. She has also been a neighbor and friend.

We found Susan on our own, after it was clear that our assigned relocation agent was not hearing what we were saying we wanted and needed. We had a brochure for a house Susan had listed and was impressed by the detail of the information provided. We tracked her down at Blackhawk Real Estate Company and were immediately impressed with her both as a realtor and person.

Susan has also represented us as buyers in a transaction that we did not complete. The house we fell in love with had problems beyond cosmetic fixes and we ended up walking away. Susan could have said, "I told you so." (Thanks for not saying it, Susan!) She knew her job was to help us get the house we wanted and make sure we did it with our eyes open. We learned and moved on.

When we thought we would like a change of scenery, Susan was happy to show us properties in Orinda, Lafayette and Moraga. We saw for ourselves what she already knew, that Blackhawk is a better value and a more livable area. We then limited our search to Blackhawk. Again, she didn't need to tell us, she was able to show us.

Our family has returned home to life in the Pacific Northwest, and wouldn't you know it - we have been unable to find a realtor who comes close to what Susan has to offer. We'll keep looking, but you don't have to.
